DataMan 8600HDX Handheld ID Reader, Serial Slide in with USB

The DataMan 8600HDX is a powerful new handheld ID reader targeted on the electronic manufacturers, medical device and automotive market. The DataMan 8600HDX has superior reading performance for reading down to 2-mil Data Matrix codes, depending on the size code the working distance is between 5mm-100mm (from the front of the DM8600HDX, not from front of the sensor). The reader has the same decoding engine, hardware platform, and form factor as the DataMan 8600 series. The major difference between the DM8600HDX and the DM8600 series is the lens; the DM8600HDX has a 16mm liquid lens that enables a smaller field of view with more magnification. This reader will be available in corded USB/RS-232 and Ethernet as well as wireless communication via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to a base station.
